Mr. Richard Henry Paylor, the son of the late Annie Paylor Carver and Lindsay Carver and the late Rufus Graves, was born on July 31, 1944 in Leasburg, North Carolina. He entered eternal rest on Monday, January 31, 2022 at his home in Leasburg, North Carolina.
Mr. Paylor leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 53 years Mary Cameron Paylor, also known as “Cat”, and to this union he leaves to cherish two daughters Catherine Dionne Paylor (Ronnie) of Leasburg, North Carolina and Latoya Richmond (husband James) of Raleigh, North Carolina; three grandchildren Nicolas Paylor of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Dante and Sydney Richmond of Raleigh, North Carolina; and God daughter Phyllis Evette Haith (husband Roger) of McLeansville, North Carolina.
In addition, he is survived by daughter Angela McDonald (husband Larry); grandsons Dominique (wife Treshica), Isaiah, Zion and Larry and one great granddaughter Nyla, all of Durham, North Carolina.
Also mourning the loss of Mr. Paylor are his special first cousin Constance “Teenie” Battle of White Plains, New York; siblings Kester Carver (wife Ann) of Roxboro, North Carolina and Annie Villines (husband Larry) of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina; two sisters-in-law Barbara Bailey of Roxboro, North Carolina and Evelyn Thorpe of Detroit, Michigan; and numerous loving additional family and friends.
