On Monday, February 24, 2025, Mr. Harry Douglas “Doug” Jones, age 60, departed this life, to be eternally with the Lord, at his residence in Roxboro, North Carolina.

He was the son of the late William E. Jones and Cora Winstead Jones, who survives. Doug was a native of Person County, North Carolina and attended Person County Schools. He was employed at the Person County Vocational Workshop.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother Donald “Duck” Jones.

Mr. Harry Douglas “Doug” Jones leaves to cherish his memory his mother: Cora Winstead Jones; two sisters: Brenda Jones and Wanda Faye Jones; four brothers: Warren D. Jones, Brice Jones, Michael Jones and Leon Jones; two aunts: Cornelia Winstead and Alene Graves; one uncle Isaac J. Jones; and a host of loving cousins, additional relatives and friends.
