Mrs. Annie Lee Royster Black, age 97, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Pruitt Health in Durham, North Carolina. She was a native of Person County and a member of New Hope Person Baptist Church in Timberlake, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Black; son Bobby Lee; and siblings and relatives: Mary R. Mitchell (John Henry), Coy Royster (Bertha), Ralph Royster (Cora), Phillip E. Royster (Macie), Sidney Royster, Tenny (Early) Royster, Pete Royster, Reba Blake, Novella Cameron (Percy), Martha R. Pettiford, Inez Thorpe and Annie Moore (Richard).

Left to cherish her memories is a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
