Mr. Walter Lawrence Tapp, age 91, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Yanceyville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Yanceyville, North Carolina.
Mr. Tapp was a native of Person County and served his Country. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard, Sr. and Daisy Tapp; Sisters: Octavia Marshall, Katie Kirby, Odessa Paylor and Daisy Pulliam; Brother: Leonard Tapp, Jr.; Niece: Eugenia James; and Nephews: Ranzino Paylor, Byron White and Ernest Lee Marshall.
Mr. Walter Lawrence Tapp is survived by his beloved sister (Family Matriarch) Jennie White; Daughter: Dr. Sheila Samuel (Dr. Raymond Samuel) and Grandsons Joseph and David Samuel; Daughter: Michele Roseman (Kyle Roseman); and a beautiful cloud of nephews and nieces including: Charles “CT” Paylor (Helena); Lavagetto “Poochie” Paylor; Rhoal Tapp (Paulette); Nathan Pulliam (Zelia); Jay Pulliam (Sandra); Helen Young (Bernard); Lynette Kennedy (Edward); Juanita Browder; Rikona Kirby; and Angelina Kirby.
