On Friday morning, February 14, 2025, God called his angel, Mrs. Theresa Morgania Dixon-Hughes, home to her eternal resting place.
Theresa, lovingly called “Ressa” by her family, was born on March 21, 1926 in Semora, North Carolina to Edward and Bertha Dixon.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Tinsley Hughes Sr.; two sons: Tinsley Hughes, Jr. and Clinton Hughes Sr.; two grandchildren: Terry Hughes Jr. and Morghan-Alexis Hughes; five sisters; five brothers; and one daughter-in-law Sylvia Ann Hatchett Hughes.
Her cherished memories remain with her children: Terry Hughes Sr., Claiborne Hughes (Veronica) and Lawanda Hughes; daughter-in-law Priscilla Hughes; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
