Mr. Donnell Elliott, age 73, departed his Earthly life and entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 27, 2025 in Leasburg, North Carolina.
He was born in Caswell County, North Carolina on July 13, 1951 to the late John Henry Elliott and the late Georgianna Swann Elliott. He was a Retired Veteran of the United States Air Force. He made his home in Bowie, Maryland.
In addition to his parents, Donnell was preceded in death by his son Donnell Elliott II; Brothers: George, Julian Sr., Frank, Jerry, Reginald, Harry, Harvey, John, Howard, Robert and Lewis Elliott; and sisters Martha Elliott Smith, Lena Ann Elliott, Sara Elliott and Josephine Elliott Graves.
Mr. Donnell Elliott leaves to cherish his memory his wife Virginia Settles Elliott; daughters: Carolyn Rivers (husband Mark) and Monica Elliott; sons: Damon Berry (wife Lisa) and Reginald Hockaday, Jr.; grandchildren: Antonio Noel, D’Andre Leid, Da’Nya Elliott, Deion Berry, Elasya Berry, Christina Rivers, Ryan Hockaday, Jordan Hockaday and Justin Hockaday; great-grandchildren: K’Mari Turner, Amari Hockaday and one whom he eagerly awaited his birth; sisters: Isabella Elliott Crutchfield of Leasburg, North Carolina; and Frances Elliott Fuller and Geraldine Elliott Flowers (husband Kenny), both of New Rochelle, New York; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
