Mr. James Gilbert Gentry, age 71, departed his Earthly life and entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at his residence in Roxboro, North Carolina.
He was born in Person County on June 9, 1953 to the union of the late Gilbert Joseph Gentry and the late Gracie Cash Gentry.
Mr. James Gilbert Gentry leaves to cherish his memory his step-brother Tommy Lester of Roxboro, North Carolina; brother-in-law Linnie “Sugarfoot” Carrington; nieces: Sharita Bennett and Shakonna Carrington, both of Roxboro; nephew Charles Carrington of Roxboro; great-nieces: Faith, Xyion, Ny’la and Kamora; great nephews: Nazzarah and Lakhristian; best friend Mary “Ma” Stone; and numerous loving additional relatives and friends.
