Ms. Shirley Jean McGhee, age 79, entered eternal rest on Saturday, December 24, 2022 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. She was a native of Person County.
She was preceded in death by her mother Millie Arlene McGee; sisters Ozella McGhee and Josephine McGhee; and brother Herman McGhee.
Ms. Shirley Jean McGhee leaves to cherish her memory two sons David McGhee of Rougemont, North Carolina and Alfred McGhee of Roxboro, North Carolina; three sisters Maxine McGhee, Queenie Mae McGhee and Sarah McGhee, all of New York; three grandchildren Taylor McGhee of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Brittany McGhee of Roxboro, North Carolina and Jordan McGhee of Charlotte, North Carolina; two great-grandchildren Braedyn McGhee and Bronx McGhee; and numerous loving additional relatives and friends.
