Mother Annie Mitchell Blackwell, age 99, departed her Earthly life and entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Duke Hospice Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, North Carolina. She was born in Person County, on March 13, 1925, to the union of the late Luke Mitchell and the late Allie Cameron Mitchell.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her daughter Josephine Blackwell and son Reginald Blackwell.
Mother Annie Mitchell Blackwell leaves to cherish her memory her daughters: Colean Blackwell of Durham, North Carolina and Kimberly Blackwell of Knightdale, North Carolina; sons: Elder Robert Blackwell of Roxboro, North Carolina and Danny Blackwell (Iris) of Durham, North Carolina; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
