Mrs. Sylvia Ann Hatchett Hughes, age 61, departed her earthly life and entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at her residence in South Boston, Virginia.
Mrs. Hughes was a native of Person County and a member of Person Senior High School, Class of 1981.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clinton Hughes, Sr.; parents Herbert Hatchett and Mary Love Hatchett; and brother Leroy Hatchett.
Mrs. Hughes leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Kimberly Hatchett of Roxboro, North Carolina; sons Clinton Hughes, Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina and Craig Hughes of Roxboro, North Carolina; grandchildren: Kendal Hughes and Kennedi Hughes; sister: Alice Jones of Durham, North Carolina; brothers: Linwood Hatchett of Roxboro, North Carolina and Bernard Hatchett of Martinsville, Virginia; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, additional relatives and friends.
