Ms. Anita Gail Tapp, age 57, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. She was a member of Shady Hill Baptist Church in Roxboro, North Carolina, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and was employed at Duke University Fuqua School of Business in Durham, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents Landus Tapp and Margaret Brooks Tapp and two brothers Landus Darrel Tapp and Jackie Donald Tapp.
Ms. Tapp is survived by her sister Selma Tapp Hooker (husband James) of Raleigh, North Carolina; one sister–in-law Pattie J. Tapp of Roxboro; a special friend Kenneth Jay of Roxboro; a niece Keisha Renee Tapp of Roxboro; a nephew Karlos Raheem Tapp of Roxboro; one great niece Kameryn Renee-Bailey Tapp of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; one great nephew Trevon Malik Tapp of Timberlake, North Carolina; and numerous loving relatives and friends.
