Mrs. Cloria Estelle Clayton Thomas, age 81, a native of Person County departed this life on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Duke Hospice-Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her father Percy Clayton; mother Tressie Lawson Clayton; husband S. T. Thomas; son Stephen Thomas, Jr.; sister Yvonne Beard; and brother Percy Clayton, Jr.
Mrs. Cloria Estelle Clayton Thomas leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Claudette Johnson (husband Anthony) of Roxboro, North Carolina; one sister Julia Cooper of Durham, North Carolina; two brothers Thedrick Clayton of Hillsborough, North Carolina and Calvert Clayton (wife Evelyn) of Timberlake, North Carolina; two sisters-in-law Geneva Thomas of Baltimore, Maryland and Gennette Thomas of Ashland, Virginia; one brother-in-law Grady Thomas; four grandchildren: Joleesa Thomas, Reginald Thomas, Caitlin Thomas and Morgan Johnson; and numerous loving nieces, nephews additional relatives and friends.
