Mr. Herbert Leroy Hatchett, age 66, of Roxboro, North Carolina departed his life on Monday, May 24, 2021 at his home, following a long term illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert Jim Hatchett and Mary Que Elizabeth Love Hatchett and one infant son Herbert Leroy Hatchett, Jr.
Mr. Hatchett is survived by his wife Barbara Pettiford Hatchett of the home; one daughter Laskisa Hatchett of Roxboro, North Carolina; three sons Todrick Hatchett of Arizona; Antwaiin Hatchett of Roxboro, North Carolina; and Rahsaan Jones of Apex, North Carolina; two sisters Alice Jones of Durham, North Carolina and Sylvia Hughes of South Boston, Virginia; two brothers Linwood Hatchett of Roxboro, North Carolina and Bernard Hatchett (Andrea) of Martinsville, Virginia; one brother-in-law Collins "Bud" Pettiford; six grandchildren Jakia Carter, Omari Carter, Jalen Jones, Kalil Jones, Alexis Jones and Landon Jones; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
