Mr. Charlie Lewis Crutchfield, age 75, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, North Carolina. He was born to the union of the late Charlie Willis Crutchfield and Isabella Elliott Crutchfield, who survives. Mr. Crutchfield was a Veteran of the United States Army.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother Tony Crutchfield; and grandparents Connie and Hicks Crutchfield and Georgianna and John Henry Elliott.
In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory are his son Rodney Crutchfield; daughter Franchone Lea; granddaughter Shantiga; mother Isabella Crutchfield; sisters Peggy Crutchfield Sudler of Hollywood, Florida and Patsy Crutchfield of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; brothers Calvin Crutchfield and Karl Crutchfield, both of Leasburg, North Carolina; and Michael Crutchfield of Semora, North Carolina; aunts Geraldine Flowers and Frances Fuller, both of New Rochelle, New York; uncles Julian Elliott of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina and Donnell Elliott of Maryland; great uncle Lonnie Crutchfield of Fayetteville, North Carolina; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
