Mrs. Correne Carver Bailey, age 80, departed this life and entered eternal rest on Friday, September 20, 2024. She was born on February 16, 1944 to the union of the late Loch Carver and the late Vera Furges Carver. She was a native of Person County, North Carolina but resided in Wake Forest, North Carolina for the past two years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Winstead Bailey and sister Kattie Carver Johnson.
Mrs. Correne Carver Bailey leaves to cherish her memory three daughters: Bonnie Kay Carver of Roxboro, North Carolina; Sandy Frazier (Dwight) of Wake Forest, North Carolina; and Elder Teresa Hudson (Gerald) of Durham, North Carolina; one son Gregory Eugene Carver of Roxboro, North Carolina; one brother Bishop Locious Carver (Pastor Barbara) of Prospect Hill, North Carolina; five grandchildren: Danielle Hood (Michael) of Durham, North Carolina; Dwight Bailey Frazier, Jr. (Toniqua) of Raleigh, North Carolina; Crystal Harris (LeCharles) of Raleigh, North Carolina; Jasmine Hudson of Durham, North Carolina; and DeAundre Marqie Carver of Roxboro, North Carolina; and numerous loving additional relatives and friends.
