Mr. Tinsley George Hughes, Jr., age 69, departed his earthly life and entered eternal rest on Sunday morning, September 29, 2024 at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center in Huntersville, North Carolina. He was born on January 2, 1955, in Danville, Virginia. He resided in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Tinsley was preceded in death by his father Tinsley George Hughes, Sr. and brother Clinton Hughes.
Mr. Tinsley George Hughes, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory his wife Priscilla Blackwell Hughes of the home; two daughters: Ashleah Denise Hughes-Boehringer (Blake) and Randal Camrie Hughes Tran-Thompson (Erik) both of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchildren: Lila Gray, Kaleb Asher and Ophelia Camrie Boehringer, all of Charlotte, North Carolina; his mother Theresa Morgania Dixon Hughes of Semora, North Carolina; two brothers Terry Hughes (Veronica) of Semora, North Carolina; Claiborne Hughes (Veronica) of Woodbridge, Virginia; one sister LaWanda Hughes of National Harbor, Maryland; two sisters-in-law Sylvia Hughes of South Boston, Virginia and Lucy Blackwell Davis (Joseph) of Semora, North Carolina; and numerous loving relatives and friends.
