Ms. Kattie Johnson, age 84, departed this life and entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at her home in Roxboro, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents Locious and Vera Furges Carver.
Ms. Kattie Johnson leaves to cherish her memory three daughters: Barbara Johnson Russell (Henry) of Roxboro, North Carolina; Deborah “Nay” Hester of Timberlake, North Carolina; and Mona Lisa “Lisa” Johnson (Larry) of the home; grandchildren: Euneekia Hester of Burlington, North Carolina and Desmond Johnson of Roxboro, North Carolina; great-grandchildren: Jada Hester and Jah’Mari Lawson of Burlington, North Carolina; great-great granddaughter Ja-Moni Bowes; sister Correne Bailey of Wake Forest, North Carolina; brother Bishop Locious Carver (Pastor Barbara) of Prospect Hill, North Carolina; niece Bonnie Carver and nephew Greg Carver, both of Roxboro, North Carolina; and numerous additional loving relatives and friends.
